Think Pink: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October signals Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Susan G Komen for the Cure, American Cancer Society, and other cancer organizations have always advocated wearing PINK in honor of those with breast cancer, fighting the disease as well as those women we have lost. I have lost one aunt, my fav aunt Madonna, to breast cancer in the past year. I also have another aunt who was recently diagnosed as well as my other aunt who is an almost 15 year survivor. Currently, my coworker is battling her 2nd round with breast cancer! So trust me..it has affected my life in tremendous ways.

While you are "thinking pink", why don;t you go on over to Zappos.com, 6 pm or your fav shoe site and get some "think pink" inspired shoes.  Also, Yaki over at StyleMePrissy.com has listed a few pink shoes from ShoeDazzle.com that will donate a portion of their sales to Susan G Komen for the Cure.

While I admit, pink is NOT my fav color (if you haven't noticed by now...Red..pink's big and bad mama...is LOL ) but I will rock anything for a great cause!
